Finland now full member

At the EPP core group meeting in May 2013 Finland was accepted as a full member of the EPP community. CONGRATULATION and welcome.

It was also decided: 
  • To work on running annual benchmarking events to ensure the consistency of levels delivered throughout the member countries. The next event will be in Copenhagen October 11-13. 
  • Stand Up Paddle (SUP) was adopted as a new discipline and Denmark was asked to create the first draft for technical standard for EPP SUP. 
  • Continue to work for expansion with  Norway, Italy and Latvia who are currently actively interested.

These decisions are only a selected few of the many decision made and integrated into the Strategic Plan. After updating the Strategic Plan many items could be marked as completed and new tasks was delegated.  

In other electoral matters it was a full reelection.Denmark was reelected as Chair and Secretary and Ireland as Treasurer
